I usually wake up around 6:00am EST. At that time of day, the house is quiet. It’s my own time. It’s my time to say my morning prayers, and as is customary, it’s my time to catch up on all of the overnight thoughts of my tumblr friends. As I was reading through last nights musings, it reminded me of a picture I took of this sign in a store, in Laguna Beach, Cali, while on vacation. I love this saying. It holds so much truth for me in my life. I’m so grateful for everyone I’ve met in my life, including the folks I follow here on tumblr. You are all such an inspiration to me.

Also, a special shoutout to Laura and Vanessa. They are 2 of the golden threads that have connected me this year. I was already friends with Laura, but our relationship has grown tremendously in the last 6 months. She introduced Vanessa to me, and we’ve become very close friends, very quickly. I love them both, and I thank the Lord that they were brought into my life.
