It's not my strength, but Your's that carries me!

The Lost Get Found!

incredible video by this young lady. We showed it on retreat and the kids were amazed. Enjoy.

This is our Temporary Home

I heard this song, and thought what a perfect video, describing hope, and our journey here. This is just our temporary home after-all.

He’s not finished with me yet!  Great new music.

Well I will walk by faith
Even when I cannot see
because this broken road
Prepares Your will for me

Father, you have heard my cry, and have rescued me

Seek You - Adie Camp

Adie’s new album came out this week and I listened to the album many times over, and all of the songs have great meaning, but the Lord spoke to me today, through her song “Seek You”. Thank You Jesus.

Keeping on the theme from my previous post. Here’s a great song/video by Matt Maher called Garden. Listen and find peace.

By Your side - Tenth Avenue North

TODAY is International Epilepsy Awareness Day. Nearly 3 million Americans & 50 million people world-wide have epilepsy. My brother is one of them. Matt’s day consists of popping about 6-10 pills in the morning, sometimes suffering through 2-3 seizures a day. Many of those seizures have been what’s called “Status Epilepticus” which means the seizure last for more than 30 minutes. Matt has had 2 brain surgeries, and now there’s some new growth that’s causing seizures in the place where they removed his temporal lobe.

I wanted to post this up here, because Matt is a shining example of hope. Along with this terrible disease which has afflicted him, God has given him an incredible gift. The gift of music. He can play just about any instrument, and his voice is incredible. He writes, plays and sings all his own songs. You would think that with everything going on in his life, that the music he would write would be filled with pain, suffering and angst, however, it always amazes me that his songs are filled with hope. I’ve attached one of his songs here.

Tomorrow his the National Walk for Epilepsy. He will not only be walking, but performing with folks like Greg Grunberg (Matt Parkman on Heroes). Greg’s son has the exact same form of Epilepsy as my brother. I’m asking my followers to just give the song a listen, and say a small prayer for my brother, that he maintains his hope in the face of all his challenges.

If you have any interest in finding out more about Epilepsy, Greg Grunberg started a website called talkaboutit.org. Lots of great info on the site.
